Birmingham, 2002-10-22
At the Birmingham MAPP-meeting in october, a new president was elected for
the coming 2-year period. Wolfgang Sagmeister from the Swedish MAPP-agency
DanDruff, was appointed the successor of former president Bart Jespers of
Belgium agency DeKie. "I'm very honored by this appointment and will do my
best to keep the good MAPP-tradition alive. My most important task for the
coming period will be to promote our organization's professional work and
ability to companies in Europe that are looking for a flexible alternative
to the conventional agency networks. Although MAPP is one of the older and
more established free networks of agencies in Europe, I believe there's
still much to be done to spread the idea about MAPP and to prove that
"working glocally" really is the name of the game for the future", says
Wolfgang Sagmeister.
