In the first week of May, MAPP Group held its first of two yearly meetings for the year of 2006, on the lovely island of Mallorca, Spain. Apart from all participant’s traditional updates on the marketing situation in their respective country, the focus was on the topics of integrated communication and brand evaluation.
”I’m very pleased to say that we, once again, experienced a meeting in a personal atmosphere and in lovely surroundings”, says Thomas Ensgård, President of MAPP and one of the representatives from the Swedish agency DanDruff Communication.
”For 15 years now, the indenpendent European network of MAPP Group has proved its value, both as a forum for exchange of ideas and marketing methods, and as a flexible organisation with a unique concept, strength and experience to support companies both locally and cross-European. Europe is more and more becoming one market, while local differences still remain between our countries. I strongly believe that the potential of the MAPP concept of cooperation and ”working glocally” will be obvious to many brands with European ambitions in the years to come. Also, I welcome new agencies from the countries where we lack representation into our group – there so much we can learn from each other!”
